About the Gallery

Hatfield 2 Fine Art is located in the heart of the French Quarter of Charleston, South Carolina. My name is Marcell Easter. I am the gallery owner and one of the artists. I bought the gallery in the fall of 2006. My background is in accounting and finance with a degree in international business from Thunderbird. I am a self taught artist that has recently entered the field of art on a full time basis.

How we are the perfect fit

Art can rarely be generalized. It tends to be viewer specific. Most art lovers have a wide variety of styles that they like. Our paintings include styles such as surrealistic, impressionistic, realistic to name a few. We like to present art as you would see it. We want to help you in finding the perfect picture. Some of my ideas may help you in finding the right art for you.

• You should like the art that you own.
• You should have a connection to the art. Maybe it is a place, a memory or a thought.
• When you find something good, buy it. If you want to compare, ask the gallery for a print out of the image to keep track of what you have seen. Fine galleries will go out of their way to help you.
• The customer comes first.

Buy original art

• We like to think of ourselves as original. Make sure your art is original.
• All the paintings in the gallery are original.
• There are too many excellent artist in this area and in the world to settle for a copy.

I bought the gallery in the fall of 2006. This is a big change for me. I love interacting with the artists and the customers.
